The state of Nevada boasts a lot of mystery and intrigue with its infamous Area 51. Tourists from around the globe travel far and wide to burn rubber on its extraterrestrial highway to see the spectacle for themselves. Only, instead of UFO sightings, they get an alien-themed jerky shack, a guarded Air Force research center, the famous Little A'Le'Inn (a motel/diner/gift shop), and a whole lot of people scratching their heads and asking “what’s there to see here?” That’s because the actual spectacle lies at Caeser’s Forum in Las Vegas. You may think we’re referring to gambling, but no! It’s the second annual Manifest Conference coming up January 31st - February 2nd, 2023.
About Manifest
Manifest was created to bring industry executives, entrepreneurs, and investors together to work on solving the world’s most complex supply chain challenges. With over 3000 attendees, including 1000 startups and investors, and 250 world-class speakers, Manifest hosts the most comprehensive ecosystem of supply chain innovators under one roof. Here at SemiCab, we are all about collaboration, which is why we’re so excited to announce we’ll be attending the event! We’re looking forward to forging new connections with others who are just as passionate about changing the status quo as we are.
What we’re looking forward to
Events like these are always filled with unmissable treats, like entertainment from talented artists, or a peek behind the veil of a particular organization. But what we’re really excited about this year are the many speakers who will be sharing their insight with us all. We’re eager to make it to as many presentations we can, and are looking forward to hearing from Rob Haddock from CocaCola, Jennifer Kobus from Ulta Beauty, Yone Dewberry at Land O'Lakes, and so many more.
In addition to those awesome speakers (see the full list here), we’re equally as excited that our very own founder and CEO, Ajesh Kapoor, will also be presenting. Ajesh will touch on topics we’re all familiar with, like the seemingly never-ending volatility we deal with in transportation, but with a twist — hope. Catch him in the Innovation Zone on Thursday 2/2 at 11am PST.
What to expect
When it comes to the world of logistics and supply chain planning, there are a variety of topics one can expect to encounter during Manifest 2023, but here are the main ones we’re sure will be hitting the center stage.
- Port and maritime issues
- Collaboration and innovation
- Energy consumption
- Robotics and drones
- Autonomous technologies
With the private networking app, you can more easily connect with other attendees, stylish 1:1 meeting spaces, and most importantly, a puppy lounge! Manifest 2023 promises to be an unforgettable event, and while everybody likes to say “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” we’ll be going the opposite route, sharing everything we see and hear with all of you. We hope to see you there!
